MIMMO PALADINO

Mimmo Paladino (b. 1948 - ), born Domenico Paladino in Paduli, Italy, was another important figure in the “Transavantgarde” movement. He is a sculptor, painter and printmaker, and he attended the Benevento Art School from 1964 to 1968, during the height of minimalism and conceptualism. In 1977, Paladino moved to Milan, and then in 1978 to New York. He has shown at numerous prestigious international exhibitions, including the Venice Biennale, the Biennale of Sydney and the Documenta 7 in Kassel. He currently lives and works in Paduli.
