Seduction. Life is a series of seductions. We are seduced by ideas, things, people. Sometimes we are seduced by beauty, sometimes by power, both positive and negative. The Seduction Series is an attempt to address seduction and some of the feelings that accompany it. It is a tactile seduction - the pieces evoke the desire to touch. As I go deeper into the series, however, each piece begins to take on very distinct human qualities. The pieces are rarely over five feet tall so they embody a non-threatening human presence; a presence that asks - or seduces - the viewer into an intimate relationship.
